- Meeting with upper management and clients to determine PR objectives and goals;
- Working with the Market Research Analyst to obtain the market research in the appropriate industries, markets, customer demographics, and geographic locations in order to form the best PR strategy to meet the client's specific needs and objectives;
- Researching media coverage and trends and studying the objectives, promotional policies, and the client's needs to develop PR strategies that will influence consumers and promote the client's products and/or services;
- Developing new fresh, trendy concepts, stories and ideas for campaigns and promotional materials (i.e.: industry and special events, print advertisements, posters, billboards, etc.);
- Advise and assist client’s with strategic uses and maintenance of social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter;
2. Public Relations Activities
- Advising, coaching and educating client representatives in media relations and effective communication with media outlets and key personnel who has influence and authority in making key decisions regarding the success of the client’s product and/or services;
- Creating and writing content for press releases, articles, corporate profiles, executive profiles, and social media content, and promotional materials that client’s may need for industry conventions, conferences, seminars, etc.;
- Assisting clients with any responses to requests for information from the media or assisting the client’s designated representative in responding to requests by preparing statement of information or resources necessary to make a response;
- Conceptualizing, designing, planning, implementing, arranging, and publicizing the client’s public appearance at industry events, conventions, conferences, etc. to promote the client’s public image, advance notoriety and familiarity among industry members and consumers, and to promote and introduce the products and/or services the client has to offer;
- Working with upper management and clients to develop a financial management plan for desired PR campaigns and activities, managing the expenses to the budget set, and keeping detailed financial records of expenses associated;
- Planning and conducting market research and conducting focus group surveys to test the public opinion on the client’s products and/or services;
- Analyzing results of market research and focus group surveys to determine how to modify current PR objectives to ensure the client’s success in the market place and submitting written reports on findings to upper management and client;
- Monitoring the effectiveness of PR activities to ensure that objectives are met, anticipating potential issues that may arise and providing a plan to resolve such issues;
- Maintaining consistent and clear communication with upper management and client regarding the progress, successes, and issues of PR activities;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field is required.
