Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience in RDBMS, including authoring SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs
  • Understanding of leading Java/PHP frameworks (Spring, Laravel)
  • Understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
  • Knowledge of and experience in Java script, CSS, HTML, AJAX, GIT
  • Knowledge of Amazon Wed Services suite of products (EC2, S3, RDS, Application Hosting and Web Applications)
  • Experience in a Scrum/Agile work environment
  • Experience with user interface design and implementation preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Computer Information Systems or Computer Science

KWIM - Market Research Analyst

1.    Data Research and Analysis

  • Analyze the company’s financial information to forecast business, industry and economic conditions, and make proper recommendations to top management regarding the company’s position in the industry/marketplace and financial condition and future of the company;
  • Identify and analyze industry and market trends that may have both positive and negative implications on the company’s position in the industry;
  • Identify and analyze information on the company’s customers and potential customers, what their preferences are now and forecast future preferences in order to remain ahead of the industry/market;
  • Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, services, and methods of marketing and compare those to that of the company;
  • Monitor and forecast industry and marketing trends;
  • Conduct market and industry opportunity assessments;
  • Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences and needs to identify factors that are positively and negatively affecting the company’s business and demand;
  • Devise marketing strategies and make short term/intermediate term business plans and strategies based on data analysis to maximize profits and minimize risk for the company;

2.    Data Reporting and Maintenance

  • Synthesize analysis and data collection and create standard and custom reports of findings and recommendations for review by upper management;
  • Maintain and organize repository containing all market research information;
  • Study and stay abreast of changes occurring in the freight forwarding industry, including changes in any state and federal regulations that could affect the company.

Full-time In House Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, exam, reconcile and analyze accounting records, financial statements, budget records and other documentation to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards using Creative Solutions Accounting program;
  • Apply GAAP, state or federal fiscal guidelines, and agency policies to establish tables/records of accounts or financial transactions, review financial data, and assign entries or apply accounting control measures to proper accounts;
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to currently implemented projects, and project future revenues and expenses;
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze the company’s budget, prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs/revenue to actual cost/revenue;
  • Evaluate and oversee all financial flow of the company for maintenance and improvement;
  • Maintain general ledger and payroll accounts to ensure employees are compensated;
  • Assist CPA by providing financial documents and assist CPA in computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements, upon request;
  • Compute quarterly and semiannual/annual corporate sales tax, along with organizing and computing payroll and any other necessary taxes;
  • Ability to deal with the IRS along with the Franchise Tax Board if for a corporation in needing to provide any supporting documents requested;
  • Advise/report findings to upper management;
  • Provide financial guidance to corporate CFO;

KW ABSC - Public Relations Specialist

1.    ​Public Relations Strategizing and Planning

  • Meeting with upper management and clients to determine PR objectives and goals;
  • Working with the Market Research Analyst to obtain the market research in the appropriate industries, markets, customer demographics, and geographic locations in order to form the best PR strategy to meet the client's specific needs and objectives;
  • Researching media coverage and trends and studying the objectives, promotional policies, and the client's needs to develop PR strategies that will influence consumers and promote the client's products and/or services;
  • Developing new fresh, trendy concepts, stories and ideas for campaigns and promotional materials (i.e.: industry and special events, print advertisements, posters, billboards, etc.);
  • Advise and assist client’s with strategic uses and maintenance of social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter;

2.    Public Relations Activities

  • Advising, coaching and educating client representatives in media relations and effective communication with media outlets and key personnel who has influence and authority in making key decisions regarding the success of the client’s product and/or services;
  • Creating and writing content for press releases, articles, corporate profiles, executive profiles, and social media content, and promotional materials that client’s may need for industry conventions, conferences, seminars, etc.;
  • Assisting clients with any responses to requests for information from the media or assisting the client’s designated representative in responding to requests by preparing statement of information or resources necessary to make a response;
  • Conceptualizing, designing, planning, implementing, arranging, and publicizing the client’s public appearance at industry events, conventions, conferences, etc. to promote the client’s public image, advance notoriety and familiarity among industry members and consumers, and to promote and introduce the products and/or services the client has to offer;
  • Working with upper management and clients to develop a financial management plan for desired PR campaigns and activities, managing the expenses to the budget set, and keeping detailed financial records of expenses associated;
  • Planning and conducting market research and conducting focus group surveys to test the public opinion on the client’s products and/or services;
  • Analyzing results of market research and focus group surveys to determine how to modify current PR objectives to ensure the client’s success in the market place and submitting written reports on findings to upper management and client;
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of PR activities to ensure that objectives are met, anticipating potential issues that may arise and providing a plan to resolve such issues;
  • Maintaining consistent and clear communication with upper management and client regarding the progress, successes, and issues of PR activities;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field is required.
